Department Senior Vice Commandant Mike Hinds

Marine Michael Hinds was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and currently resides in Woburn, Massachusetts. He enlisted into the Marine Corps, January 2005. Upon graduation from Parris Island, he attended the School of Infantry (SOI). Following the completion of SOI, he served with Company B, 1^st Battalion, 25^th Marines out of Londonderry, New Hampshire and deployed to Fallujah, Iraq in 2006 and Nimruz Province, southern Afghanistan during 2011. He was Honorably Discharged at the rank of Sergeant in 2013.

Marine Hinds joined the Marine Corps League in 2012 with the Honorable Few Detachment #1302, where he has served as the Detachment’s Sergeant at Arms. He has served as the Department Junior Vice Commandant, and is now the Senior Vice Commandant. Marine Hinds has also served as the Sergeant at Arms for the New England Division and is currently the Assistant Division Vice Commandant.
